Do you guys ever do this? This is one of my oldest and
favorite pastimes. We used to do it a lot with
ambient/drone music watching the nature channel.

Last night that movie RV with Robin Williams was on and we
were listening to Hajnal by VS. The suspensful strings
started as they first got into the RV, and as they panned to
each of their faces the suspense kept building as they
started pulling out of the driveway. Then as they were
taking corners too sharp, hitting mailboxes and trash cans
and driving through lawns the breaks started to come in.
The dishes came out of the cabinets and onto the girl's head
as a particularly wicked amen break happened, it was
hilarious.

Another good one was Robocop 2 with Quaristice, Quad etc.
We were watching some of the action scenes toward the end
with some of the glitchier tracks and it was as though the
music was the sounds his body made as he moved around. It
just kept getting better as he started to fight cain at the
end.

i used to do that all the time hahah, when i used to listen
to Limp Bizkit with my cousins and put on Turner Classic
Movies, it was the wierdest Emo stuff ever.

Muting the T.V. and doing Voices to characters is my
favorite pasttime

i used to do this a lot but now my girlfriend says to me she
says "turn it off if you're not watching it" and i says to
her i says "i am, but fuck it. turn it off".

now we just leave the tv off most of the time we do.

I did a mix called the monster mash! It originally did not
have this song it in, but the revision will. The one I have
is credited as The Countdown Singers?

The first one had some problems but this one will be ace! I
may save it for halloween to post dunno.

there who wears 'legbrac and raised boots' because she wants
to walk like that...?

Yea I would put that with Batine Acid by Aphex.

Really a lot of his goofball acid basslines would work.

Co-existence: I mean yea that's a big part of what makes it
so good.

One time we were watching some old BW movie on TCM, and it
was this girl dancing and singing with a band. The band
looked latin, maybe samba or something. We were listening
to Bazaar and watching this, and just when he brought in a
maraca on 1/8 notes a guy in the band started using a shaker
right on time with it. We were like WHAT?!

Sometimes I think about quantum theory and some of the stuff
in that what the bleep movie and wonder if stuff like this
is really always just coincidence. It probably is but its
more fun to think that it isn't.

haha, i was totally talking about this a while ago.

last week me and a bunch of friends got baked out of our
minds and threw on david attenborough's planet earth in hd
on my friend's 720p projector with incunabula as the sound
track - it was glorious.

also a couple years ago we got smashed and watched fantasia
on mute with someone's computer just on shuffle, and we were
all memorized at how fitting so many of the songs were. i
wish we could have had the mind of record that, but alas,
drunken college memories will have to do.
