ah ha ha
these last 2 tracks are some of the best I've heard on xl retardatronic. i only played them in my 5$ speakers but they seem of similar quality to crunch's '1', otto von schirach's '8000 bc', michael fakesch's 'marion' etc.
At first the high and low pitch stuff were kinda opposing, but are really joined together with the extra background stuff toward the end. Not sure if more polyphony of lower notes would add or subtract (maybe adding simultaneous notes of same instrument that are an octave up later on (yeah the high pitch stuff is simultaneous notes but notes closer to the lower pitch would blend better maybe.. kind of combine with the current low note melody so its not so standoutish compared to everything else), or maybe make a change from the main loop melody groove though it is great).
