Obama vs McCain then.

Portrayed and presented as a fight between youthful energy
and change and the experience of an aged war veteran.

Spin the election roulette.

good riddance

I'm not so sure on Obama, but he beats McCain in my books -
and hopefully in the elections, too.

agreed with rad smiles.

I have no confidence in either person. Obama is kidding
himself on the whole war situation and the majority of his
supporters are falling for the Eliot Spitzer rules of
getting elected into office.

secede. That should be fun. It's not that I wish ill for the

As a Texan resident I wouldn't mind. This whole election is
getting on my nerves. I have a few Obama-obsessed friends
who think he stands out from all other canidates and have
too much bullshit shoved down their throats to realize
otherwise. I voted for Ron Paul in the primaries because he
was the only canidate with a novel idea: stop feeding the
monster of our federal government taxpayer money. Both
parties differ little on major issues, just social stances
like gay marriage and that sort of thing, which shouldn't
even be in the realm of government oversight anyway.

Christ.

I'd heard that as part of comedy routines, I didn't think
anyone actually thought like that. It's almost as completely
fucking dimwitted as making a thread called "happy niggers"
just to cause outrage.

Hopefully this is the end of the road for Hillary, but if
you think Obama's quest for the White House will be as easy
as getting the Democratic nomination, you're absolutely
kidding yourself.

McCain, unfortunately, stands a very good chance.

josh --

the american elite, the people who control the polls, the
election, the people behind the scenes - would never let ron
paul win. someone like dennis kucinich too who believed we
need to stop shovelling money to the fed - it would never
happen. america will never see a man or woman like that in
office. the people behind the scenes would lose money. it's
not in their interest to lose money. they WANT all that
money. DUH. they can profit off of a guy like obama.

Anyone would be preferable to McCain. Instead of "Vote for
Obama" posters/stickers/promotions, I would put out a "Don't
Vote for McCain" campaign. If they don't like Obama, then
they should just not vote. I don't have anything personal
with McCain, but he's the absolute last thing this country
needs.

DON'T VOTE FOR McCAIN '08

Not all the racist white working class are registered as
Republicans. You see more conferate flags in W. Virginia and
white supremist groups in the midwest than anywhere in the
Deep South. Clinton did well the W Virginia and Ohio for
that reason. She's also more popular among the Hispanic vote
b/c of similar distrust of Obama based on his race alone.

As for Gravel, he's had libertarian tendencies in his policy
posistions and he switched in order to run as a 3rd party
canidate. He came in 4th place in the Libertarian party
primary so it's not going to happend anyway.

matter?

Will it not matter that half of the people who actually

that's correct. it doesn't matter. we got a sayin where i
come from--- tough titty. life goes on. people learn to come
to terms with defeat. we went through 8 years of george w
bush, didn't we? life goes on. these lousy policies would be
and have been in place regardless of who was president.

but more importantly we are talking about ron paul. to say
he mattered is ridiculous.
