this is good but i'm not keen on the pads/melody - far to
wishy washy imo.

thanks cygnus

noseburger:
what 'type' of sound do you think would work?
or maybe can i do anything to the pads?

im kinda getting used to the track so not sure what i should
do, cuz i cant hear much else on it now

i dont really know what to suggest, i mean its your music,
but the pads in this track to me feel like they're there as
an obligation rather than actually speaking for themselves.
thats just my two dollar anyway.

well, i totally understand the feeling.
im going to tweak around with it more tonight to make some
elements that are more personal/emotional.

I like the effects you were doing before the more naked beat
came in. What did you use to do the first bit?

thanks gwely.. >D

jivver,

the first bit is a programmed beat that i froze and pitched
down, then pitched up again but keeping the length of the
pitched down one, and then added spektral delay, along with
another processed beat which is somehwta the main beat which
is another track i did a bit ago.
and theres also some processed vocal bits which is probably
from one of those "generic house samples #203" cd..(i had
them in the original track in which they were processed
again)
all of it in ableton live as well

yea man this sounds good. i like the watery/chorusy pad
that comes in. the beat work reminds me of some of the
quari stuff a lil, but not in a bad way. in particular the
clang bell hit, but it is one of my fav parts.

ooo a bump..

thanks guys ;)
i dont mean intentionally for it to sound like quari, its
sort of my own vision that i had before quari came out
