There's really not much to discuss, just lots of really big buildings. The tallest is in the United Arab Emirates. It's currently a little over two thirds it's planned height of 818 meters, but it's already the tallest man-made structure anywhere. The drawings looked trashy to me, but that was before I saw the . They're being built across the street from the mosque in Makkah, of all places. Can you believe that? Not the tallest, but the biggest building ever! might give you a better idea of its scale. They "topped out" that first skyscraper, the Burj Dubai, this weekend. It is very tall and shiny, I wonder what it must feel like to live inside of it. |
