see the sexy Portuguese entry.

Iceland was almost as abominable as Poland, I take my
delight in that.
Now Georgia is crossing every boundaries, haha. Those
dancers need to at least excersise in the morning.

When is Telier going to perform?

Never has the Eurovision scene witnessed such body. I was
actually thinking about buing some ground in Ukraine. What
was her name again?

:D:D:D Azerbaijan put some significant effort in the
choreography

France was pretty good. They got my vote!

have no idea why i watched this, but the french tune was
actually fucking awesome. really huge surprise in the
melange of feces and eurodance revamps.

Tellier's nice and all, but France fucking sucks. I want to
hear feces and eurodance revamps, this is what Eurovision is
all about. Fuck you France for being all high and mighty.

offline staz on 2008-05-24 15:48 [#02209994]

i don't lke what they're about, so the tune was its only
redeemer.

offline marlowe from Antarctica on 2008-05-24 15:53 [#02209995]

I turned it off, couldn't stomach any more of the shit
voting.

offline QRDL from Poland on 2008-05-24 16:02 [#02210002]

Funny, how the winning song (Russia) and the last one
(Poland) were equally atrocious. All others except Georgia
were better.

What's sadder than being the pariahs of Europe? Being
pariahs of Europe and getting votes only from own citizens
abroad, heh.

I really am a little sad

Yeah. I had fun watching this Eurovision - it was one of the
more bizarre ones. But all the songs were better than that
bloody Russian one. He's singing it again, it's awful...
when we first saw it, we definitely thought there's no way
it could be near the top, political voting or not. Defies
belief.

the ice skater did it for me.

The Greek song actually sounded like something that had
leaked from Britney's recording studio circa 2002. People
nowadays aren't even able to recognise traces of quality in
the shit they listen to.

I'm not even mentioning Telier.

I haven't heard the word 'pariah' for about ten years! Did
you do an online translation to get this or do you normally
say it?

offline QRDL from Poland on 2008-05-24 16:53 [#02210023]
Points: 2838 Status: Lurker | Followup to JivverDicker: #02210015

Hmm, it's the first or second time I used it in an english
sentence. I used the Polish equivalent "parias" not more
than 20 times in my life.
I don't know how I learned the english translation. Must've
read it somewhere.

Tellier was fantastic. If you didn't like it, you're
unworthy of living.

Yes he was, but I heard the song a couple of times before on
BBC WS. They had an interview with Tellier which got
repeated several times during that day. So eventually the
song sank in and I didn't need to comment on the bright star
that he was in the contest.
And it's not like he really stood a chance :(

Save it, QRDL, Ani Lorak has an armed body guard just
outside her hotel room.

haha, no doubt there will be some kind of riot tonight in
Belgrade. Either the pro-Russian nationalists or the
testosterone-driven Serbs storming the hotel.

The winning song has the same chord progression as Toni
Braxtons, Unbreak My Heart... Think about it!

received 12 points.
