maybe but you did say in the other thread that thought blocks instinct and living at one with nature

It's not about answers it's about asking.
That's what Dr. Phil would say, anyway.

Yeah, it does. Thought is destructive and usually trivialises nature, but nature is all we are. So by watching an animal and getting back to nature, we might learn something from its behaviour - it's a lot more truthful and valid than the garbage we're learning from each other.
Of course, humans are not willing to learn about themselves, we want entertainment. We are constantly seeking pleasure without pain, and that very search itself is what causes such mental anguish.
As Cygnus indicated in his post, it is the search for answers itself that is making humans unhappy. When you realise there is nothing to search for you will finally be contented. You see the search is never-ending, when you think you have found what you want you will get bored with it and search for something else. It is a delusional state to be in.

Many martial art forms are based upon the observations of animals.
of course, this is only one aspect.
thought interrupts the natural flow of the cosmos.
life is like a box of chocolates.

I'm a fucking asshole of a dipsomaniac
Yesterday I drank two liters of 10° beer and blacked out insanely. What really amaze me is that even when I'm completely drunk I still can login on forums with complex codes and shit, and then I say shit. Utter shit. Why is that ?
Once I've even did 50 kilometers or so with my motorcycle, completely drunk, and the next day I didn't remember any of it. Driving totally uncounscious, is that possible ? Shit, I must have some sort of guardian angel, i dunno...
Dipsomania is probably like anorexia, that is, retard's illness.
But when I'm drunk, I so much like it to destroy everything around me. Life is so pointless. Fuck it.
I'm accumulating lots of bad karma, I wonder how I'll die but this is going to be nasty I swear.
Fucking fucks.

goin back to earlier posts, animals or humans as supream beings?
IMO humans are just animals, only problem is weve over evolved, and now were fucking ourselves over. i personally feel that the reason were all so fuct up these days is because we aint living like animals, weve evolved so much and developed our minds so far that people actually believe that it aint right to kill an animal for food WTF?!?
fucking hippys i blame. non violence and all that shit, animals fight each other, cute lovely chimps in the jungle find young from different colonies and rip them to shit and canniblise them...
.... ive lost my thought/rant trail, fuck it.

If part of your "living like animals" is being violent then you can hardly accuse the human race of giving up its animalism on any scale.

fair comment marlowe. By my saying humans have given up our animalism i meant more by the nature of our living. its a complex chain of thought i'm trying to put out of my head and onto this here instant reply box, and i'm by no means anysort of wordsmith, so it aint comin out to well. basically i reckon life would be 100% more tollerable if we live like an animal, so to say that if your daily life was filled up by actually surviving, looking after yourself, your familly, doing things natural to an animal, finding food for yourself rather than going out to work for the £ that it seems is all you need to do all the things an animal does is what makes us all so crazy and continually search for fullfillment.

are we really fucking ourselves over by destroying the planet we live on - and therefore destroying ourselves? that is another "problem". if you are a PROBLEM PERSON then you think there is some mystery behind it. you think something other than the fact is present. something out of your control is around the corner.
but if we broaden our awareness and empty it out then we will realize that there is no such thing as dying at all. and then we'll realize that the human race can never truly go extinct. then we'll realize that the condition the planet is in is not out of our control whatsoever - and that there is no reason to feel there is a problematic situation at hand.
once we have realized that shit with a broadened, emptied sense of awareness then we could probably teleport this planet into another solar system , alter its properties with thoughts, control the weather with our minds, contact consciousnesses from other reaches of the universe... and above all the termination of a human life would appear to be anything but a "loss". we have to broaden consciousness to include everything that is comprised of energy. by raising our level of awareness we can shed our "PROBLEMS".
you guys keep bringing up "evolution" - well isn't the worship and adoration of "problems" that is slowing that evolution? isn't the "problem" of "death" one of the biggest things keeping us stuck in the animal pattern you guys are talking about?

problems are good for evolution
less good for happiness. i guess if you want your flashy ipod touch nanobob then you've got to pay for it somewhere. even if it means the blood of a thousand Somalian children on your hands...
