Funny stuff.

oscillik - the establishment is named after its owner, so
the way the surname is pronounced will change from place to
place as is the way with surnames.

MC Pitman and Devvo do this ironic style better but the
beats used for 'straight out of Compton' win!

well considering that the founders were called Dick and Mac
McDonald, i doubt that their surname was meant to be said
like "MacDonalds"

Mac MacDonald?

i think not.

at least the difference in sound of Mac McDonald is more
likely to my mind

but then again i'm derranged

I'm sure the majority of people don't know the first names
of the founders.

"Mc" is just a shortened version of "Mac" anyway, the
original usage in Gaelic family names, so I would imagine
either pronunciation would be perfectly acceptable if the
shortened version is used.
