once again it carries your pretty unique mood, like on the ep. kind of surreal like melody reminds me of glass or mirrors or something. i like it a lot. .esepcially the thing around 2:50 that sounds like some circus instrument.. ok i know my descriptions suck but bear with me. |

I've been listening to ha'daga (glasse presents a boy not melampo). I am feelin it alot. It feels like every proffesional aspect of the resident evil music (i used to love the atmosphere of some of those pads), then da beats pour around like liquid. The drums drop around like a kid just threw a bucket of rubber balls all over a basket ball hall. They fall in and out of time v nicely. It seems like you and cx use lots of combined processes and midi cleverness, i slap things together in a very literal sense. It's a bit stiff sometimes cos of how rigid my approach can be i spose. I'd like to play with devices n wotnot but i just can't get down to getting into it. |

Thanks man I really appreciate it. Yea I started with hardware so I still try to use what i have as much as possible. Sometimes i just want to sit in the living room with my laptop, watch tv or something, work on some tunes and keep it simple though. You seem like you have a knack for working fast and nailing out these great beats and melodies. Usually just a few elements, but what they are doing is super sexy. You remind me of my friend JPs friend Brian/Milieu. This guy nails out these little jams in no time flat but the melodies are amazing. Sometimes a solid jam doesn't need all the complicated production to support it. Yea ha'daga had a deconstructed beat and a normal beat and I crossfade around between them. That EP is kind of my cut of outtakes from . We had some tension/creative differences around release time so there ended up being the 2 releases, which is why it says presents. Everythings cool now, its just easier if we help each other on our own thing rather than do the band. Check out that link there if you like the glasse ep though. BTW I took down that sweet bee link for now. I made a v2 but Ill wait until I have the next track in this set done and post w it. |

yea get it now cause i think he is going to do a repackage w other outtake stuff and try to sell it on itunes. that is the direction this whole netlabel relaunch thing is going to go i guess. i don't think ill try to sell much if any old stuff, new stuff i will, but i want to send demos around to hardcopy labels too. |
