i like glitchy stuff too but i mean glitch is usually
somewhat weird, challenging and all abstract whereas this
just brings it. my comment doesn't really read how i meant
it :P

colani?

Thanks all for your nice comments!

See you when I have another one done maybe!

This one took me only 5 days but hell, inspiration is a
totally uncontrolled thing. Actually I tried to keep it
simple, starting with the battery, even the synth patch is
really simpe. Then I wanted to use unharmonic notes and
bring back some melody, that's all. =)
Thanks again!

nice beats actually. i'd like some drony melodies on top.

and a some random rapid change-ups for an Xtra 75 cents.

Perfect!
Are you affiliated with crunch's colony label or some such?
Sounds quite similar in quality. What software/etc did you
use? And is the 3/4 swing type beat created by simply
setting some sort of 'swing' lever in the software?

is the percussion in the first like 15 seconds all
synthesized?

Answers :

Yes it's all synthesized sounds

I used this awesome Clavia G2X controlled with logic audio
5.5 (PC) Then I recorded it straight with this good old
SBlive platinum.

Here is all the synth patching for this track and here is
the sequencer stuff. (with explanations for wMw)

When I say the patching is not complex.. well there are lots
of modules but this isn't rocket science really. Compared to
this guy's knowledge

I liked this a lot, but like oyvinto I wouldn't have minded
some more melody on top of these nice beats. Still, it's
good.

Really great, robot music, organic complex technology. I
recommend these if you havn't heard them (but you probably
have because they're old by now):
crunch- 1
otto von schirach- 8000 bc
fizzarum- monochrome plural
funkstorung- appetite for disctruction
michael fakesch- marion
