yeah ratm rulez! i never been to one of their concerts but i just read that last year they have reunited with zack and started a worldwide tour. they're gonna play in modena in june, the ticket costs 32 euros and the gig will be opened by Asian Dub Foundation so.. won't be like the good times but sounds reasonable enough!

yup! the first time i saw adf and ratm was a festival on mtv, in england perhaps? it was 93 or 94 and i never heard that kind of music before so i was pretty shocked in front of the tv that day. a few years ago i've been at one adf concert and now it's some kind of collective, not doing stuff like in rafis revenge anymore but good for the party. you're right nothing changes but the people!

it's a weird one with adf indeed..you usually don't get to see the same band eventhough they use the same name : )

i had wanted to see them live ever since i was a kid in elementary school, so when i heard they were touring again i completely flipped my shit and immediately bought a coachella ticket.
to be honest, the show felt a bit... rehearsed. it literally sounded and looked exactly like the live dvds i had watched so many times. and i dunno if it was the fact that the show took place at the end of a three day stint in the desert, maybe its the fact that its over a decade too late for raging mosh pits, but the crowd was just not as into i had hoped.
the buildup was immense and i still wouldnt have missed it for anything, but i feel like i expected too much and got what i should have expected.

My brothers cover band busted out Bulls on Parade the other night. It was tense, they did a good job. Almost everything they do has bad ass written all over it, from Motorhead - Ace of Spades to Motley Crue - Kick Start my Heart.
I'm a little excited about this. I certainly have a soft spot for 90s "alternative" music and I wasn't real into Audioslave.
