i get some really cool ideas when i smoke and can make some of my best shit. i just have to go back the next day and clean it up usually. i just have to be careful not to delete or radically change shit when im smoked cause i know i might regret it later. |

i need a good week until i am really happy w something. half of working on it for me is playing it back though. i listen and listen until i know it like the back of my hand then try to find what it needs, whats missing, what just isn't good. some people can work really fast and get polished enough results i need to let mine stew a bit it is time for my gin and juice i think. |

speaking of i'm doing a v2 of that last track. i might post it or i might just wait until i have something new to post w it. someone should have told me the drums were too loopy in the beg, i was so excited about my bass i overlooked it. :P Also the one melody was way to loud (mixing in headphones bad bad bad). i went back after not many ppl said anything and was like, oh yea its dumb how that snare hits the same for the first min or so its boring. anyway the dnb element is much more fluttery and active now :P |
