I am not! You weren't there! Nraqzxer, it was amazing seeing Aphex, as you can imagine. But I couldn't help but be a bit disappointed. Some of the stuff he played was brilliant, but a lot of it was just.. shit. You could do nothing but stand still, waiting for something you could dance to! It kind of felt like he was taking the piss a little bit. Playing a lot of shit, just because he could! |

ive actually changed my mind about Aphex djing horribly dj sets for 10,000 dollars. its the ultimate 'fuck you' to the electronic music scene and i think its hilarious. Id probably do the same thing if i was done with the whole thing and just wanted to relax but still make a lot of money off of it. |

If I were a club owner paying him that it would have to be a proper aphex set. A DJ set might be worth $5k, because even if his DJing is pretty ok compared to his originals he is still going to pack the house. How much was the cover to get in? |

ok, well the capacity is 1400 so if each person pays $20 (probably more) and it is filled to cap that is $28,000 right there. I didn't realize also its a festival so he should get more than just an any night/any club gig. So even if you did pay him $10 or 15k, and (depending on what you are paying the other DJs) if you figure drink sales on top of the cover you will still be making plenty of money. |

I like the editing actually...... it's a nice balance to something like the Rome 2002 footage which just rests on aphex most of the time. It's good to show the energy of his gigs with fast edits and we do get to see aphex concentrating on his art in between. |

No, the editing was definitely annoying. You can create impact and dynamics with video without having to cut every 50ms. Still, the quality was decent at least... Doesn't make up for the fact 90% of the set was wank though. Still, he played The Tingler, which will always save the day for me. |

im here honey, i didnt like the set really and you did ask. it lacked of richards genuine megalomania and danceable songs i know from other sets i downloaded. so i was kinda disappointed. also it wasnt loud enough. my recording is nothing but overload static btw. this one nice song and some nice jungle mashups couldnt make up for it. vibert and grant were nice though |
