1. 1972-78? Great period for classic rawk and metal - Sabbath, Zeppelin, not to mention SOUND OF 77 punque. 2. 1982-88? Electro, hip hop, thrash metal and hardcore, still some respectable post punk. Pop music becomes mostly unbearable. 3. 1992-98? Paging slipdrinkmats. Classic period for electronic music 4. 2000-2008? Great period for experimental music. Humanity's Complete Music Library comes online and you can download, listen to and remix anything anytime. A period of reflection and introspection. rad smiles: 1979-1981 fuck yes, maybe one of the richest musical periods in the 20th century with post punk and new wave. Gary Numan alone elevates this period to epic win. |
