It's quite nice, although I found myself frequently
recognising bits from elsewhere... I wouldn't say it was
album of the year so far by any stretch of the imagination.

I listened to it because of this topic. Didn't like 1983,
but this is very good stuff imo

i really wish he would do more stuff with vocalists...

i love his stuff, but standouts always seem to be the tracks
with vocals... tea leaf dancers on reset..., robertaflack,
testament & aunties lock/infinitum are the standouts on los
angeles, although do love sexslaveship as well... but it is
a great album... no complaints... and yes, don't worry i've
already reserved the cd & vinyl at my local record store...
love ya flotus!

This is released today. I must stress again what a fine and
original album this indeed is, it's worthy of an actual
purchase! This album has a sound as intriguing as that of
the Boards of Canada and an ethnic flavour to its tracks
reminiscent of the works of Richard H Kirk and yet it sounds
like a totally original thing of its own that I tend to
think of as psychedelic instrumental hiphop.
