i like it in theory but i don't think i'd remember it.

it's the flashbulb of snares jungle tracks.

"You heard Venetian Snares and you said turn around!"

Gawd this really is brilliant. Hopefully pre-ordering as
soon as Planet Mu let us, alongside My Downfall which I've
been meaning to get for months.

i like this music , but the lyrics make it sound like 5 year
old breakcore comedy shit, and its not funny in the least

I actually quite like it, but the same old criticism stands
in that Snares doesn't know how to roll a beat properly.

its just too similar to other stuff he's done. i've only
recently (about 2 years) started to really enjoy what he is
doing, but it's a step back rather than a step forward. it's
a shame really but i will still look out for his new stuff
in the future. no-one is perfect.

look at it from the bright side. in about 10 years (if he
will still be writing music then) we will be able to make a
compilation of 10 excellent tunes he's made over the years.

he tore it up in miami when he played a couple weeks ago. he
played a lot of stuff like this and i almost cried with joy.

derivative? perhaps, but it is deriving from a time when
jungle was raw.

i love this shit. absolutely bonkers. i hope it's on vinyl
so i can play it 1/2 time.

offline tolstoyed from the ocean on 2008-04-19 19:12 [#02196136]

i don't find it derivative. infact it's finally starting to
make some music sense.

I'm afraid i have to slightly agree with Combo here, it only
sounds mastered better but that's it. First Snares song I've
heard that i turned off before hearing the end :(

i dunno. despite being more straight forward drum n bass
style music, there is something different (more clean??)
about his current sound then his previous drum n bass
songs.
no idea what it is though.

I think all 3 newest songs on his myspace are much beter
than anything he's done recently.
First time in a while I didn't turn his tracks off before
they ended.
