My second baby was born on March 28th via planned induction. My wife was 9 days past her due date so they admitted us on Friday afternoon. They broke her water with a plastic hook thing to get the show on the road. An hour and a half later, this baby just came flying out basically. Like, the doctor was still putting on her gloves when the baby was launched like a gory cannonball into the nurse's fumbling hands. I shouted "GOAL!" and my wife and I did a high five and a leaping chest bump. Anyway the new baby's not named Juggernaut, sadly, as we thought that would be inappropriate for a cute little girl. We named her "blood thirsty" instead. She is healthy and happy. At least she doesn't complain much and basically just lays there wriggling and spitting up when she ain't drinking a boob or sleeping. commence with well wishes and congratulations toward me and my nuclear family at the tone... *beep* |
