i didn't mean literally. but you could put it in a nicer way. like you did later on in the thread. i don't care for all generic music being made either, but obviously there are people who like the idea of this. maybe it's an age related thing..or just a matter of when someone realizes what sets interesting music appart from dull music. i went through the same phase...as i guess most people do. when they're really into music. overal i think i agree more with you than some other people music wise, it's just about how you put it to them. if you don't like it you don't like it, just put it nicely : ) |

k300i, i see you bringing up the cunt thing, i think i was the one who called you that.. fine, i take it back, you can state your opinion obviously and should be able to do so without being called names. but if you remember your first post in this thread, the post that started it all.. it went something like "thats really sad. seriously i think its just sad. pach arcel. this is so pretentious and desperate in its trial to resemble the ae feeling that it even outscored tycho and his copy machine. music is all about being creative, wannabism is all about being like others. im suprised people actually pay for this knowing its been done just to "sound like something else" instead of being invented to carry out its own idea. this approach brought britney and alikes to the world, and it will kill music eventually. its all what carsten nicolai is against. i mean, man, you would at least give it different title for fucks sake. " thats not stating your opinion, thats being a cunt. besides that, what ever happened to just having fun, its just music its not serious business. just because an album isnt ground breaking doesnt mean it cant be cool. to me, a piece of music is graded on the level of emotion i get when listening to it. its really that simple for me. whether or not you could learn to enjoy fi's album even if it sounds copycat, or whether i should get a stricter sense of taste, is really irrelevant, what matters is that your post was unecessarily aggresive (to me), but i guess this is what life is about. people disagree on things, regardless of anything, i enjoyed fi's album, didnt think it sounded much like ae copycat, and i enjoyed the production. im not saying YOU are incorrect, and i withdraw my cunt statement, ill just say that i think you should give it a chance, especially titane (its my fave) |

K300i is an honest guy - he gives his honest opinion about stuff usually in detail and without quickly resorting to name calling. I don't always agree with what he says, but he's the kind of person who will keep the dwindling spark alive in Xltronic. There's nothing wrong with being forthright with your views in this way, and I'm sure futureimage et al are thick-skinned enough not to be crying into their cocoa if sometimes his way of stating things is harsh. |

I don't know what K330i used to post here but his posts do seem mysteriously vicious. I doubt his aggenda is as simple as wishing to push people out but I don't know why he had to be quite so personal in his attack on future image. I only stuck up for fi so much because i feel people who are simply too quick to hate something and condemn it as copied are really detrimental to people trying to make something out of music. What K said was not just honesty it was trying to put fi down. He then went on to tell us we were all simple fools and that only he, with his all seeing wisdom, had the guts to TELL IT LIKE IT IS. Even when I was quite obviously apologising to him (I even started a special thread for it!!!!!!!!) he answered me with more crap. I really don't think he's very nice and 'honesty' dosn't make up for that. |
