joyrex sucks

I hate old aphex tracks, this is just really bad, it has
no redeeming features at all, sorry. i prefer his stuff from
95-97

I thought you meant the WEBSITE Joyrex. That could have been
controversial...

Caustic Window is OK... not his best, not NEARLY on the
level of his later stuff. Though Reflex would disagree if he
were here, eh?

Now that's a bit harsh, it's not that bad...

his older tracks (joyrex + classics) have their own charms.
How much I like 'em depends on my mood

I kind of agree with Kara on this one.
I bet it was really groundbreaking shit at the time though.

I tend to disagree. Oldskool 'Aphex' rocks.

I really like On the Romance Tip and Cordialotron, among a
few others.

on the romance tip would be in my top 10 aphex list

no! i could make a list of 50 albums i think are great.
MHTRTC would be on that list, SAWII and drukqs would be on
it. Geogaddi and early aphex wouldnt make my top 300 albums

differing opinions concerning caustic window are probably to
do with when you fisrt heard said twin and your
chronological age. hence I'm right period.

There's good and bad, just as in the newer stuff. I like it
all.

the oldest Aphex Twin I've heard is AW85-92, and then the
next oldest would be SAWII, and on up from there... I
haven't heard Caustic Window Comp or Classics... I probably
should though...

Older the AFX ...... shit kara... you need to understand
that old aphex twin rocks the house! the new stuff is OK but
the old stuff is old skool and the real deal!

Old aphex tracks are really bad, they have no redeeming
features what so ever....

What the fuck are you talking about? Have you actually
listened to them?

I'd say hard hitting old-chool techno beats, classic dance
till-ya-drop classics and flowing melodic ambience are some
pretty good redeeming qualities, especially for when this
stuff was released.

lol @ coming to an aphex fan site , and just starting a
thread just to say that joyrex record ducks. No one cares of
your opinion. And a more appropriate way to state your
opinion is to mention you thought it sucked would be in
context of discussion of the record. Just my opinion . You
suck too btw.

along side Drukqs...

hey fuck you - she can say what she likes and state her
opinion any way she wants to without ignorant fuckheads like
you saying that her opinion isn't wanted or regarded,
especially when i know there are people who agree with her
to some extent. and how can she discuss it in the context of
"the record" when she isn't talking about a record but about
the early afx stuff? if she wants to create a thread then so
what?
