technics RPF200. Very capable and cheaper than those hd25s.
Plus they are the same brand and styling as my decks so I
can feel fashionably colour coordinated.

and while we're at it can someone post a pic of the backside
cable-n-hole end of a 1210 Mk2 please. A nice big one so I
can see what's back there.

Thanks mr v! although it doesn't tell me anything at all. i
suppose i should have just asked what type of connectors it
has to go into a preamp, and if they're not rca plugs how
can i get it into a "2rca in 2rca out" preamp?

it's your standard rca-connectors, sir, and should connect
to your preamp nicely.

excellent, so when it arrives tomorrow i should be up and
running in no time! hurrah. i shall be needing some advice
on making sure it's all callibrated up nicely.
(with a sorry and a tug on the forelock to sheffieldbleep
for hijacking his thread - i just use sony MDR-V500 for
headphones - hardly top of the range)

The lovely Sennheiser HD590's. Old now. I did have some
other Sennheisers but the strap at the top broke so I got
them replaced with these which were worth more :D

I take it the picture uploading doesn't like underscores
then.
Fixed in the mythical v2.

technics rp-dh1200, they are almost broken now, thinking of
that hd 25, its just a tad too expensive tho.

I'm using an old pair of those Technics, they've almost had
it.
Time for some HD25s... Thanks for the recommendations all.

Hey giginger! haven't seen you here in ages man.

I also have the Sennheiser 590, which is perfect for
homelistening/DJing. I can wear it all day long without
getting warm ears or feel pressure on my head. I have it for
years now and I recently ordered and installed 2 new ear
cussions.

It's not suitable for club DJing because of the open ear
construction.
