really great. always hesitated to buy this album... but now
I have it and it´s cool. :) just curious, but where are all
the tracks taken from? which ep's and so on... ?

I read they were from Xylem Tube, the first Analogue
Bubblebath, and Dideridoo... but I could be wrong...

my favourite on Classics is Tamphex (Hedphuq mix)....i never
get tired of that song. brilliant sample; "Are you one of
those girls whom time stands still, once a month". love it.

Classics was the first AFX I bought and it's still one of
his best albums IMHO. Nice hard rhythms and dark textures
are just the kind of thing I like.

we have arrived... shit man... that track just knocked my
brain over bigtime.

bah..i hate classics aside from isopropanol, tamphex and
digeridoo, the whole albums shite! sorry, but all the songs
are too long and uninteresting.

oh dear. i'm not sure you'll like all those lps that have
been recommended to you then.

"We have arrived" are some of all time favourite tracks and
so is the classics album..jeez they arent kidding in these
magazines when they describe the Aphex fans as split down
the middle..along harsher/softer..drill/ambient lines..
personally I love em all..the harsher stuff a bit more than
the ambient...but all of it nonetheless

yeah I love em all too... but I must admit I'm more partial
to the softer stuff, and more melodic stuff...

well i think RDJ is well aware of this phenomenon..hence the
boy songs and girl songs..but when it comes to the piano
pieces on Drukqs as well as tons of other stuff...call me an
aphex hermaphrodite...:)

I'm listening to Isopropanol right now, this shit is dawm
good. People who say his older stuff like this is not as
complex don't know what they're talking about, there's so
much going on in the background and new elements being
thrown in constantly. And it never lets up, yeah!

I really love the classics record! Flaphead is brilliant!
I don't care much for tamphex or we have arrived ttq, but
the others are five stars, to me!
