It is the best electronic album of all time.

If they were girsl, I'd marry them both.

Hello Autechre. I like Quaristice too. I like to put it on
at the same time as Bitches Brew while drinking port and
smother me and my child-boys in horse meat while it meanders
along to Mile's pretty trumpet spurts.

I've not listened to it yet. Well except a few mins flicking
through it on bleep. I'll probably buy it and enjoy it, but
it's not the best.

Autechre: please release an album that is really good, but I
can also play to my mates and not get told to turn it off.
You know, something a bit more dancey rather than chin
strokingly oh so clever.

I like quaristice the best, because it dumbfounds everyone I
play it to! It makes me feeol musically superior to them (I
feel inferior to them in every other respect) :( :)

That was a step too far, into the land of obviousness and
unfunnyness. :-(

from Ae ?

lesson learned: ae needs to go back to the brain melt period
(as they themselves so eloquently put it)

other than that its a fine album in places.

Guys, guys-- I got it: Snore-istice.

No, seriously, I like it except for fol3 and IO which are
maybe the worst tracks they've done since Incunabula.

offline Quaristice on 2008-03-16 14:06 [#02185683]

It is perfection. Not one sound in any given track can be
modified without absolutely destroying that track.

This is the music that will be played on loop forever in
paradise
