There's a 'N' missing in ' Designers republic on the cover
of Quaristice. The fault can be seen on the fifth row in the
'second paragraph' so to speak.

Ah man, that's just cheap.

Do you mean on the CD itself? There were two things on it
which kind of struck me as being odd; first, you can
'follow' the tracktitles along the circle and it goes in a
lineair, consecutive order. But then suddenly, it 'jumps'
from 12 to 15. / 19. - considering your viewpoint. And the
second thing: every tracknumber is written like 01., 02.,
03. etc. except for Fol3 which goes like '1 2'.

i guess this is why they delayed the special edition?

the special edition doesn't have the error, either on the
steel case or the slipcases

lol I just saw that on the Discogs scans, bloody hilarious.

"I know, let's be really pretentious arty and put
fuckloads of spaces in between each letter! Yeah, that'll
whip Alex Rutterford's arse totally!" But in doing that they
forgot how to spell/type.

limited one.

Hmm, I don't hate the TDR, I really like them actually...
but... seeing as this was an Autechre album and they've done
brilliant jobs for everyone else in the past, I felt a
little let down by it. I've grown to kinda like it, but it
doesn't come anywhere near either anything TDR have done or
Autechre have had as their covers in the past.

Still, the special edition is bloody lush, I can't complain
about that. I'd like to know who's idea the whole steel
slipcase was.

i really like the art for this. it forces you to read slower
than normal and really concentrate on each letter much the
same way you listen to autechre, focusing on each element in
ways you dont normally do when listening to 'regular' music.
