i could tell you about people who i know who are dying of
cancer but i won't because there's no comparison between
cats and people and it's not a fucking competition

another perspective. ie, you are the insensitive fuck.

I think worse than cats or people dying of cancer would be a
baby peacock with cancer. Cancer of the plumage. That would
be the saddest cancer. Or maybe a doe-eyed baby seal with
cataracts. Or maybe a tortoise with leprosy. No legs, just a
head and a shell.

thread about it is offensive to you, but i had no one else
to talk to.

Do you think our posts will live long on long after we've
all succumbed to some virulent bastard disease or terminal
infirmity?

i don't know yet but currently we're getting a blood test
done and then another in a month to see how long he has
left. once he gets properly ill though i suspect we'll have
him put down. shit, that's not a nice thought

Aw, sorry about kittums. That is worrisome. Where did the
cancer start and what kind is it? I need to know so I can
obsessively check my own precious kittums for symptoms.

it's in one of his kidneys. the vet said it was 5 times
bigger than usual :-O

if you have a feel around that area and you feel that the
kidney is hard then it might be worth having it checked

why are cats so smart ?

yesterday i went into my sister's room with my laptop and
for the firs ttime, played some Aphex for her and my other
sister (they usually listen to the radio shit), they were
smoking cigarettes and talking about their issues, and i
played fenix funk 5, and my cats followed me in the room
(they folow me everywhere) and as it was playing we were
just sitting on the floor, and i kept thinking my cat was
like giving off a vibe of like "yeahhh, whatsup now?"

i dont know i feel like she has my back as wierd or depraved
as that sounds

My cat is really smart too; I played aphex for it once and
it put its ears back then went outside.

Sorry abouy tour cat. Maybe to treat him like a king, get
him a nice female cat but to sniff for the rest of his life.
*I* like sniffing cat butt so he probably will too..

Google sends their sympathy with cat related advertisements.

I thought i'd like to pay my respects, i'm sorry to hear the
bad news, just feed him tuna and make him a nice bed next to
a heater. like others say treat him like a king. we did that
for Tibstar when he died. poor little fluff ball :(

Sorry to hear about your kitty, man. You may find solace in
the knowledge that you gave your kitty a good home, but it
doesn't make losing a friend any easier. I know how gutting
these things can be. I'm hoping I won't have to deal with
saying goodbye to my kitty anytime soon. I wish the best for
you and the whiskers.

Take plenty of pictures of him before he goes. My mom's cat
died recently and she doesn't have a single pic.

Man that really sucks ass!! Sorry to hear that.
I know exactly how you feel .
My cat passed away too a couple of months ago in stomace
cancer. =(
It still hasn't fully sunk in that he is gone . I still
watch out before i close doors so i don't squeeze a small
cat (that thinks it's very funny to run like hell and just
make it inside a nano sec before the door is closed in a
Indiana Jones'ish/action movie type way)

Spoil the little fella and give lots of cuddling and love
these last days.

why mother life be so tough?

thanks for all your sympathy xlfriendkeeps. the only way i'm
going to be able to get through this is with a hard shelled
mentality. it will be tough. i love this cat more than most
people. so yeah, preparing for pain

really really sorry to hear your news.
i just find it too much of a coincidence that these days
everyone or everything seems to be coming down with some
shit..
I've lost So many people in my life over the past few years
to cancer.
Just makes you wonder what they're pumping us full of to
have such an effect.

My deepest sympathies about your cat though, i've had mine
since i was 4 and they become part of the family.
Just show him how lucky he was to have had such a good life
with you, and cherish the memories you have had together

i've been giving him whatever he wants as soon as he wants
it (no questions asked!) and he seems quite content. he's
become weak but it's made him so much sweeter. he's
currently asleep on my towel, it's a fresh one and i
wouldn't normally let him but mr king pussy can have as many
fresh towels as he likes!

to ophecks, no worry about photos, over the years i have
taken many hundreds (probably over a thousand!), so there's
no worries there. although i want a photo which will capture
him in real life :'(
and before you mention it, i don't like the idea of stuffed
animals

cancer is such a terrible cunt. yer doing the right thing
indulging his every feline whim, i know i would... just
don't prolong it too far. that sounds really heartless but
trust me, watching a cat you've known and loved getting
thinner and quieter and sadder over a month or two is just
the worst thing. take care man, of yerself and the furry one

thanks for the advice and i know exactly what you mean about
prolonging it. i'll have to be brave but it's got to be the
best thing for him in the end, my wishes shouldn't and won't
come into it

(this is him with a strawberry on his head)
