Yeah yeah, I know there's a youtube thread, but deserves its own thread! If not exactly the sound, I think it has the feel of a sort of traditional folk music plus Tom Waits-ish thing. I've always wondered how that stuff originated. I mean, it sounds awesome, but it's not really just something you come by by chance, is it? Just so it won't be a total dud if you don't like that, there were some other nice ones on youtube: 2 sounds a bit like some Carlos & Pedro stuff we never finished. |

i love tuvan throat singing - its a prime example of how awesome and powerful the human voice can be. i wish more vocalists would be exposed to it and starting doing more interesting things with their voices than just "singing" (im thinking more mike pattons here) its also a secret hobby of mine to practice throat signing when im by myself and very drunk, not caring if my neighbors hear. |
