I like Lynch long time since having Eraserhead on VHS which
I used to watch about three times a week and yes the drapes
are well Twin Peaksy. I always liked Lynch's thing that he
said whilst at art school that he wanted to do paintings
that moved just a little bit, and he did these very short
animations. I like his paintings as well a lot, and his
romanticism of industrial spaces. He's a good guy.

i saw Eraserhead for the first time a few weeks ago. fucking
amazing.

my first exposure to him was Lost Highway, then i saw Twin
Peaks. just received the australia Gold box set
(unfortunately due to having no laptop anymore, i can't
watch it!).

saw Blue Velvet (heineken? FUCK THAT SHIT!), and now i gotta
see Mullholland Drive and INLAND EMPIRE.

i personally think he's the "true" IDM film director, in the
sense that he prefers the viewer to make up their own minds
about what they're seeing.

would love to meet him

inland empire pwned, but definitely see mullholland first.

inland empire was like mullholland on ever more crack and
amyls and nitrous and acid and whatever other drugs lynch's
brain must naturally synthesize.
