This is about a brand new virus going around and you should take it very seriously. I received this information from a reliable friend: Anyone using messageboards such as watmm, xltronic and so on might see an apparently harmelss thread called 'Possibly Urgent'. If you see this DO NOT CLICK ON IT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, and ignore it completely. If you click on it you will see the current text you are reading on your screen which is very pointless and boring. And the person who created the topic will laugh at you because you wasted your time reading it. This is a new virus which started to circulate on Tuesday morning. AOL has already confirmed the severity of this thread and antivirus software is not capable of destroying it. PLEASE COPY THIS AND REPOST IT TO AS MANY MESSAGEBOARDS AS POSSIBLE TO WARN PEOPLE OF THIS THREAT! And ask them to PASS IT ON IMMEDIATELY! THIS HAS BEEN CONFIRMED BY SNOPES |
