Now, while playing Guitar Hero III on the Wii the other day, I was just wondering how mad it would be to have an "I.D.M." version of it, where instead of plodding along to riffs and guitar solos (*yaaawn*), you had to tap along to insane breakbeats, fills, and bass. I can't wait for this concept to be picked up on the Global ThoughtVibe and made into a reality. It's gonna be awesome.

I.D.M. Hero III sounds like an 80's action flick.

but seriously, marlowe, check out Harmonix's earlier games, Frequency and Amplitude, for some more electronic rhythm action - granted, not a whole lot of 'IDM' there either, but at least you got your different genres of electronica represented.

Ha ha, great idea! The "controller" could be a keyboard and you had to type in lines of code for supercollider (although of course it doesn't matter if you type them in, "in time"). It could be like a cross between typing of the dead and guitar hero.
