Anyone any tips on what fresh new stuff I should be
purchasing at the moment? Whenever I buy new albums, most of
them end up being at least 10-15 years old. Like the guy in
the LCD Soundsystem song, I'm losing my edge. But new music
keeps you young - so what's out there right now that's worth
picking up?

Shit there's like 45 albums in that list I need to buy! By

Haha - I have six of Pitchfork's top 50. I was still making
my way through their 2006 list for most of last year .
But that website is mostly into guitar-based stuff, a lot of
which all sounds the same to me. I might be off the mark,
but Vampire Weekend, their latest tip, don't exactly sound
like they'll set the world on fire.
I thought xltronicers would have a few sweet tips for what
is going on in the electronic music scene. Too much of what
I listen to now is what I was into in 1994/5 - Aphex, Global
Communication, Ae etc. So I was wondering what stuff is
going on now. Maybe the point is that not very much is going
on?
