What's the most extravagant purchase based on impulse
buying, that you have ever bought! And have maybe thought,
should I really have spent that much money on such an
item!!

Mines a Star Wars book that cost me £100!!

cds... but which cd I'm afraid I can't name... sometimes I
might go home and put the cd on it think it's crap and I
wonder what the hell I was thinking to buy it... especially
double cds that cost like 40 bucks here... :)

also bout a car on impulse buying. It was only $4500
though. Oh and I've gone on closths shopping sprees that
have cost about $1000 a day.

I wish. I've wasted way too much money on dumb assed
purchases.

If there was something that I really wanted....but wasn't
sure of spending the money, a good friend of mine would
allways talk me into it by saying "Look at you'll have
though!!"

I allways remember that is was at that time of the month
when it is one week before payday, and you try and think to
yourself...."If I buy this item....will I be able to last
the week??"

...another extravagant purchase whilst I was doing a study
on animation in school, was 3 Disney sericels - they were
£300 each!!!

Let's just say that these days....my spending habbits are a
lot more controlled! And I think to myself "Do I really
need that.....or where are you gonna put it??"

A widescreen TV. I regret buying it because everything is
still normal format and the screen isn't filled properly :(

(and I refuse to stretch the image)
Well, at least it wasn't very expensive...

anything.

which i'm really ashamed and i wonder why i got them. but
that's prolly not what you mean :)

well I bought a nice portable cd player for like 275 bucks,
but it wasn't really impulse buying as I planned it, and
researched a bit for a few days, and it was an excellent
purchase I must say...

piano.

I just woke up one day a month and a half ago and decided I
needed a Playstation 2 and Metal Gear Solid 2, for no
reason. So I went to Walmart with 500 bucks from my student
loan thingy and bought it, making my mom cry.

The PS2 was NOT worth it, but I needed a next gen system of
some kind... I only play it like once a week. DEFINITELY not
worth it!!!! I still love it though, and Metal Gear Solid 2
was amazing, mostly. ANd I got Devil May Cry the other day,
sweet sweet game.

with *just* a sampler...and didnt have enough money for
anymore equipment...i also realized that there is more to do
for free with computers anyways...luckily it wasnt too
expensive...

chris, you do me wrong! i am posting on this website using a
WAP phone i just stole from a businessman i mugged...i am
forced to feed on the paper of discarded cigarettes...oh
darn it, i see a copper...must dash! 'til next time!!

If you see a copper then it is no problem - because you can
still type on your WAP phone

Besides if you are using a stolen WAP phone, surely the
business person would have reported it stolen, to stop
others from using it!!

I think your cover is blown my friend ;)

dear dear chris - the businessman in question is lying
motionless not ten feet away from me! you cannot blow my
cover because, being so poverty-stricken, i have no cover -
just a plastic tesco carrierbag to keep the rain out
*achoo!!*
