The other day at school I was downloading tons of ogg files from various net labels.
Yesterday I went in and to my dismay, I was banned from the internet.
So I downloaded this, to spoofed my mac address. Very cool stuff :D

spoofing your MAC only works up until your local gateway/router, mate.
your MAC is part of the layer 2 frame (ethernet or atm cell, etc) and is stripped once it ingresses into the router interface.

any ethernet NIC driver should allow you to change the MAC as well.

*most* allow you to change the address.
and it's technically not spoofing.

most routers will also let you set the mac on their uplink port.
