Easy to use video editor

It doesn't need a billion features. I'm just looking to
edit some clips together and add a bit of text and music. It
would be nice if it had a similar layout to a sound editor
like Adobe Audition, where you cut and paste with a mouse.
It doesn't matter if it's freeware or shareware.

Any recommendations?

If you're used to Audition, Adobe Premiere might have a
familiar interface

Thank you.

I'm looking for a freeware app that isn't windows movie
maker or Jashaka. This goldwave product cost money.

"This is a fully functional evaluation version of the
Multiquence multitrack multimedia software. The evaluation
version allows you to try the program before you buy it.
After you've tried Multiquence"

Oh.
