i hate to be quoting my brother here, but he's described something identical to that from a few years back, and this is in australia. what the hell are they :P

Until someone actually photographs a flying saucer to me those lights are nothing more than natural phenoms or a human manufactured experience and or objects. One would imagine after more than 50 years we would get a large detailed photo of a UFO by now.

i wouldn't be surprised if heaven was actually some outer space pad and the only way to get there was via a series of 5 lights moving in a co-ordinated fashion..
as opposed to some post-death spiritual place that the bible mentions! scientology ftw.

the three-lights-in-a-line thing is quite common, apparently. i saw something very similar about 12-13 years ago walking home from school in the dark, three bright white lights that flew in mad zigzags for 5 minutes then just disappeared. my ma saw it all too, freaked us both out
no idea what they were to this day. odd

you want photographic evidence? name it: close-up, mid-range, long-range... It's all 'out there' if you want to look at it. We've had a torrent of photographs ever since the late 40s. Most (all?) of the close-ups are considered fakes, but you can't pretend they don't exist. There are very detailed images out there (TOO detailed as a matter of fact, to convince the skeptic). "Large detailed photos" exist - it's just that most people ACTUALLY PREFER BLURRY PHOTOS. Too much detail and they start getting worried or unconvinced.
I've never seen UFOs, although my brother thought we saw one last summer - but I think that was just a satellite. But, since we have no way of verifying that, it technically remains an "UNKNOWN", and hence a UFO because that's what UFOs are: unknown flying somethings. No aliens necessary.
Actually I prefer personal life-changing interdimensional voyage stories (like whale-shaped aliens from Venus) because they can be much more meaningful and make for good books.

OK, a few immediately come to mind:
Some of Billy Meier's famous photos (generally considered hoax)
Here's also a nice collection of detailed photographs from :
If you want more, there's plenty of good (at least highly entertaining UFO documentaries out there, including one really hilarious video narrated by Dan Aykroad. You can also find a few on the Meier case, he's still hot potatoes.around the world

Thanks for the links, I find the photos on the first link fake as well, the saucers look very small and the perspective doesn't seem very correct.
The second link is much more interesting, really liked that mexico 1991 photo here. Some really impressive ones there.
