just got back from the SF show.... It was intense. Waaaaaaay better than the Untilted live. Way better. I stood there silently like a ninja with my eyes closed- in a trance, slightly nodding my head for the first 45 minutes, and then for the last 15, when they really started picking up the BPM I just flipped out and started making all these crazy hand gestures, bangin' into everyone in the front. It was completely raw. I missed seeing any xltronickers there, though :( We need to get some soundboard recordings asap. |

I was at the Mezzanine.. was fucking awesome! A little bothered they didnt go on until 12:45 though... and it was less than an hour set.... and no encore :( but what they did play was brutal massonix wasnt very good at all, and there was way too much rob hall djing. I mean, the doors opened at 9pm ffs! |

i agree, massonix's set was just boring. but i really liked rob hall's djing - my friends and i were in awe at how little movement there was in the crowd. so many nerds. and i was fine with the length of ae's set. honeslty, my friends and i had to go chill up in the balcony for the last like 10 minutes or so. the bass was just too much (not that its any quieter up there). also, zeus, wtf, you follow me out here from boston?? |
