the democrats are continuously blowing really great
opportunities because of corporate influence. one would
expect after 8 years of bush and mccain offering more of the
same it wouldn't even be a second thought, a democrat would
easily win, yet they keep blowing it. i thought obama would
be different. ha. silly me.

they're blowing it by not addressing the issues they should
be addressing.

can't blame them. If they slip up just a little the press
and their opponent's camp will hound them to death. You
can't really say anything more than slogans at this point.
The press (and the camps running for pres) are worse than
toddlers in sand boxes. They latch on one little clip of
someone saying something not quite right and its news for 2
weeks.

"If they slip up just a little the press

yes you can blame them, it's there job to represent the
people, if they do not do that they shouldn't be in congress
they are worthless. people voted the dems in for 2006 to
end the war, impeach bush and cheney and they have done
neither.

being so careful as to hide the truth to the american public
imo is near a crime. I dont give a shit if they are scared
they need to have back bone and do their fucking job and
stop helping drag this country into more of a shit heap.
Its honestly because of acquiescent excusing attitudes like
your own that we have gotten into this mess. If the american
people put more of their representatives feet to the fire
and demanded they do somehting instead of taking it up the
ass and saying 'but guys they'll be yelled at by bill oriely
on tv!'

fuck that

I was talking about the run for office. Not what actually
happens when they are in. People use the most petty things
to attack each other during the election its no wonder
people are not getting into specifics. People are too
stupid. They'll just take sound bites and play them over and
over to create doubt in peoples minds. Its very easy to
manipulate the public with the simplest arguments. "Obama
hates white people..so vote for me instead" Or "He is not a
patriot" Or "This person did this ten years ago" Or this
person said that on a radio show once"..Anything to get the
headless media onto a new subject for a week. Its bumper
sticker politics..again

His whole economic policy is absolutely horrible. Though
this issue is not as big as the economy with me, his policy
on immigration is bad. He wants to "supposedly" withdraw
from Iraq, which I agree with, but he wants to keep the
bases that we built there intact.

And Rad, the person best suited for the job IMO was Ron
Paul. The economy is my number 1 concern and he's the only
one that tackles the issues cause by inflating our dollar
(FED lowering interest rates) and causing its value to
decrease.

Could go on and on with economic crap, but basically Obama
has no idea nor does his staff. Case in point would be on
Fox Business News, they have a gentleman named Peter Schiff
on there often. And he has been spot on with his
predictions of Wall Street as well as Main Street. The
reason I mention him was at first no one agreed with him
(neo-con conservatives+liberals), but now slowly but surely
the other guests and commentators can't disagree with him.
And Peter Schiff=Ron Paul when it comes to economic policy.

I would youtube him and sort by date and listen to him on
these TV programs.

I can't understand economics. I glanced though a college

Or do the opposite of that other guy, Arthur Laffer.

I love Peter Schiff. That clip with Art Laffer is a
classic, and one of the examples to why I said no one agreed
with him at first. Of course you still have people
disagreeing with him, but time and time again he is spot
on.

And this is the problem with America, the remedy that Peter
suggests in his various clips is only followed by Ron Paul.
No one else running/ran for President in '08 is on the same
page as he is.

BTW, pick up Peter's book "Crash Proof" if you are
interested in him and show some support. Great read.

There are many things people do not know about BARACK OBAMA.
It is every American's duty to read this message and pass it
along to all of their friends and loved ones.

Barack Obama wears a FLAG PIN at all times. Even in the
shower.

-----------------------------------------------------------
-------------
Barack Obama says the PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE every time he
sees an American flag. He also ends every sentence by
saying, "WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL." Click here for
video of Obama quietly mouthing the PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE in
his sleep.

A tape exists of Michelle Obama saying the PLEDGE OF
ALLEGIANCE at a conference on PATRIOTISM.

Every weekend, Barack and Michelle take their daughters
HUNTING.

Barack Obama is a PATRIOTIC AMERICAN. He has one HAND over
his HEART at all times. He occasionally switches when one
arm gets tired, which is almost never because he is STRONG.

Barack Obama has the DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE tattooed on
his stomach. It's upside-down, so he can read it while doing
sit-ups.

There's only one artist on Barack Obama's iPod: FRANCIS
SCOTT KEY.

Barack Obama is a DEVOUT CHRISTIAN. His favorite book is the
BIBLE, which he has memorized. His name means HE WHO LOVES
JESUS in the ancient language of Aramaic. He is PROUD that
Jesus was an American.

Barack Obama goes to church every morning. He goes to church
every afternoon. He goes to church every evening. He is IN
CHURCH RIGHT NOW.

Barack Obama's new airplane includes a conference room, a
kitchen, and a MEGACHURCH.

Barack Obama's skin is the color of AMERICAN SOIL.

Barack Obama buys AMERICAN STUFF. He owns a FORD, a BASEBALL
TEAM, and a COMPUTER HE BUILT HIMSELF FROM AMERICAN PARTS.
He travels mostly by FORKLIFT.

Barack Obama says that Americans cling to GUNS and RELIGION
because they are AWESOME.

criticisms of Obama from an anti-war and liberal
perspective:

What Obama's war room will look like..

Obama is against one premptive war but for 2 others

Obama's civilian security force proposal

why Obama's iraq pullout plan and his statements on 'no
permanent bases' are lies -

"A senior foreign policy adviser to leading Democratic
presidential candidate Barack Obama has told The Nation that
if elected Obama will not "rule out" using private security
companies like Blackwater Worldwide in Iraq. The adviser
also said that Obama does not plan to sign on to legislation
that seeks to ban the use of these forces in US war zones by
January 2009, when a new President will be sworn in. Obama's
campaign says that instead he will focus on bringing
accountability to these forces while increasing funding for
the State Department's Bureau of Diplomatic Security, the
agency that employs Blackwater and other private security
contractors. (Hillary Clinton's staff did not respond to
repeated requests for an interview or a statement on this
issue.)

Obama's broader Iraq withdrawal plan provides for some US
troops to remain in Iraq -- how many his advisers won't say.
But it's clear that Obama's "follow-on force" will include a
robust security force to protect US personnel in Iraq, US
trainers (who would also require security) for Iraqi forces
and military units to "strike at Al Qaeda" -- all very broad
swaths of the occupation.

"If Barack Obama comes into office next January and our
diplomatic security service is in the state it's in and the
situation on the ground in Iraq is in the state it's in, I
think we will be forced to rely on a host of security
measures," said the senior adviser. "I can't rule out, I
won't rule out, private security contractors."
