i keep picking it up and putting it back cause i've got to
much other stuff that's used and cheaper. had i liked the
sound samples a little better i'd be on it like flys on
shit, but that didn't happen

C1 is truly a nice song. The rest, not so sure tbh.

Ae songs and other gescom releases just have that
characteristic "mood" to it. This release (aside from C1)
just doesnt seem to have that. The songs are ok, but I'm
not convinced it would go over so well had it not been
presented under the gescom namesake. Like if
had released this instead I'm sure many people here would
instinctively say it's crap.

I do, but I think it would have been better suited for a
Lego Feet release instead of Gescom.

To date, Lego Feet:Hip Hop :: Gescom:Dance.

I'm just not sure that hiphop and acid work so well together
here. They seem like 2 different conceptual trajectories.
It'd be an interesting idea as an A-side vs B-side flip, but
I still think they should have distinguished between the
two, tbh. Instead of it being Acid-Acid, I would have liked
to see it as Gescom-Acid. It's just my opinion and I'm
probably wrong.

I don't want to get into it, but you're essentially saying
this is not dance music (are we even listening to the same
thing?!) so it should be released under legofeet because it
fits with your idea of 'how things should be'. Besides the
fact that Lego Feet is not a collective like Gescom. Stop
trying to figure where you fit into this because you don't.
Also, C1 is kind of wanky. D1 is straight up.

What "private issue" are you talking about?

BTW- I'm not saying Acid & HipHop can't work together, I'm
just saying its not working to its fullest potential on this
record. If you're gonna get all nostalgic on us and shit,
then please it all about b-boy or make it all about
303-wank, but to have a little bit one thing here and a
little bit of another there, it seems scatter brained and
half-realized. If you're going to include both, why not go
the other route and blur the lines like we know you can do.
Simple as that.

Dont hate the player, hate the game people. Most of you are
just pissed off b/c you want so badly for someone else to be
talking the right shit, but since it's me, it's driving you
nuts.

Empty the trash and just listen.
