In my opinion, both the Micron and Microkorg look cheap. I
don't know about the sound though, but i doubt it's all
"analogue" as they describe it is, plus they need way more
buttons :D

i just really feel it as a keyboard. small form factor -
can sound fat as fuck, editor is smooth (tho most people
seem to hate it), i just fell in love with it i

the micron outstands the microkorg in polyphony, options, fm
modulations, sequencing and much more stuff. and there are
full size keys and not those shitty mini korgs.

the only minus i see in the micron is the non existing user
interface - but i have seen a lot of plugins that send sysex
to it so you have all it's options on your pc screen - makes
a lot of sense.

the only thing that the micron is worse than the microkorg
are filters and those raw bass sounds. i mean microkorg is
basically ms2000 so there you have it

The Ion sound is great, so the Micron should be just as
good. Get one now.

If the soundtower editor is as good as some others by
soundtower then it should be great. The program genetics
function is so good. I use it all the time. I use the
evolver editor btw.

To all the people that say all the Micron/Ion can do is fat
analogue VA, I say fuck off :)

I've got a Micron, it's ace. Only thing that could initially
put you off is that each sound has a shit reverb on it that
you need to turn off as it makes the patches sound cheap.
You also need to change the 3 assignable knobs to something
useful and then it's fucking amazing.
Korg R3 is better though - I'm gonna get me one of those
next.
