Am I the only one that finds these sort ofscenesters types
extremely annoying? My sister loves these kinds of people so
every once in a while I have to tolerate them. They are
equally as annoying as their antithesis, but I can't even
say that, because I find really nerdy people that can't
dress much more tolerable. Maybe its because they are
genuine?

No idea what that is (scenesters), they look like the
average euro art school student or circus apprentice to me.

"three years ago, we threw this new years party...it was
kind-of a joke; we really didn't want to go out. ..so we
invited people over."

scenesters what those people are. There is no other way to
explain it and they invade my world from time to time.

We call them scene-kids, here, but it's the same thing, just
pointing out a slight colloquial difference.

It's just like any other clique, I suppose. You have to
separate the ones who are more-or-less good people that just
like to dress that way from the ones who are just total
douchebags. At a cursory glance, they all appear to be a
bunch of twats, but I have met a couple pretty nice ones
before.
