afx in a movie?

hi. i recently saw a film called daymaker at a festival...
ok, there was a helmet in the movie that had a label on the
side that said 'AFX' and it was pink, exactly the same shade
of color on the cover of windowlicker, and it looked really
shiny and slick. also, throughout the film there was music
that was curiously similar to aphex. one song definitely
could have been him, but i didn't stay for the end credits.

does anyone know anything about this???
is it it another trick by richard?

How much does Richard pay per year to use the 'original'
name 'Aphex'? You should fuck then off now and just make
music.

ok, i finally got an e-mail from the movie site and it is
actually as i thought...sort of

" the helmet is a tribute to Aphex Twin. There are other
more subtle references as well."
i will have to see it again to find out what that means. how
cool!
