bogdan - alright! - track 7

is there any love for this track around these parts? i
think it's great, although it reminds me of laurie
anderson's 'o superman'. i don't know if that's a bad or
good thing.

It's amazing. I think I prefer 6. I barely know bogdan's
music, but will look more after this. The whole disk shows
a keen melodic sense, as well as a fine ear for combining
layers of little squelchy sounds.

agreed! tracks 6 and 7 are probably my favourites. i like it
when he goes bonkers with the drum programming and all, but
those two tracks are just incredible. do i detect some
classical influences in there somewhere? (it's like a mach
piece, really.)

definitely classical influences; the arpeggiated line of #6
is just the sort of accompianment which would sit
comfortably in pianist's left hand.

it also appears harmonically, some of the dissonances that
appear as the bass line ascends the scale, as opposed to the
fixed, repeated note line.

tired and not making sense but I think you heard what I
heard, which makes me happy. I like this disc a lot; tons
of freshness, playfulness, good melodies, etc.

Tracks 6, 7 and 8 are the best ones. but 7 is probably the
very best.

I just realized how many trills are in this music--that's a
dead giveaway of classical influence if anything is.

man, it took me awhile to realise how 8bit team doyobi can
be.
i love 8bit (nintendo) music, and i'd listen to team doyobi
not realising. and then it hit me.. they use a fair amount
of 8bit kinda synths.
awesome musics all round : )
