Anyone have one of those retarded sleep buttons on their
keyboard?

I'm always hitting that thing by accident. Its so fucking
annoying! I have to get a new keyboard.

What where they thinking? (compaq)

im pretty sure there's somewhere in your power settings in
windows where you can change the behavior of the sleep
button, which probably includes disabling it completely.

i had the same problem, but to be honest, i was to lazy to
figure it out. fortunately the sleep button on my keyboard,
along with the rest of those silly 'function' keys (web,
mail, etc.), was rubber so i just removed the button
completely, solving the problem in the most rudimentary
manner possible.

i hate that thing , yes its one of those things i havent
sorted out yet because i hate it so much i don't wish to
dedicate any time to it at all because i hate it..

and also i still dont fully understand it...i dont wish to
dedicate any further time to this function .

but thank you for making me realise im not the only one.

im actually going to sleep myself now 5am. But mr.comps
still got work whilst i bathe in dreams and nighmares.

I disabled mine completely, but not through software. I
popped the fucker off with a knife and have never looked
back. (not recommended for those with obsessive-compulsive
disorder)
