BFAAAWWWWWW FUCK SHIT!

This has made my day.

BUT I'm buying the limited edition and not listening to
anymore tracks apart from the ones which have been leaked
already.

Autechre in Best Electronic Album for what feels like a fuck
of a Long Time shocker. Well done, chaps!

Simmm sounds so much better without Mary Anne Hobbes
breathlessly flicking the bean over it.

Gl0tch must have just shat himself or had an aneurysm. One
or the other, not sure which.

Special edition ordered also ;) Listening to 01 - altibzz
now. Sounds like it's harking back to the days of
Incunabula and Amber ...

Was this released early because the leaks had started
appearing already?

i don't think so. . . surprise impulse buy marketing? "wait
wait wait wait, wait for 5 more weeks, nah you can have 2
CDs right now for £26. Sold"=]

offline jules from United States on 2008-01-29 13:11 [#02168847]

haha. i doubt they'd do that. but i dont want to hesitate
long enough until they are gone, then i find out those are
the best 11 ae tracks ever and i cant find a download of
it...

but i love what i am hearing so far. steels just
started.....

i'm kind of disappointed that the mp3s aren't included when
you preorder the limited edition :(

although it's only an additional $10, it's kind of
ridiculous to spend more money, considering how pricey the
limited edition is...

agreed. well if instead of a tour bus, rob and sean arrive
at all their gigs in those bouncy hiphop cars you know
what's been happening=D

This album is good. I feel like I am in their living room.
It's different though, each listen it gets better. All the
tracks seem cut from the same cloth so to speak... like they
used the same set up / machines for all the tracks...
Unlike previous albums, where the software was hard to
distinguish and allowed them to get varied sounds between
tracks, this has the same general sound design...

not saying that is a bad thing by any means... like all new
AE albums, this one has left me surprised in a good way. I
love the reverb and warmth of the anaologue equipment,
though I would say the details have been sacrificed to a
degree... its just a different feel I suppose. A good one
for that matter.

I look forward to growing along with this album.

fuck.. chenc9, it was the track right after that (live set)
that I really liked, not this one. Why.. it even gave me the
impression that it would come in.

Lots of good stuff on here, but it's little things like that
which make me frustrated.
