OMG, I thought only I did this.
My friend noticed the noise once and told me to stop it.
I usually grind my teeth to add a record scratching noise
like Autechre's clipper to accompany the teeth, tounge and
mouth instruments.

I kind of have to move my lower jaw from side to side
slightly when I do it. Haha, but I know exactly what you
mean.

can you share this with us , place mics in your ears and
record ..or go midi man...split the sound into frequency
bands and convert to notes and cc .trigger samplers and
blend with original.

it might just be the new hip thing for 2008..

whats that guys name ...the director? he had to wear a tooth
shield in that film...hahaa whats it called?? freak knows
but it
might be worth investing in a tooth shield.

it is awesome tho ..tooth drumming..!!cool:)

your probably right probably fah.. i think there be
something to this method !!.

we need recordings from within the ear canal. with fx and
editing ect.

reaction and monitoring times are so short ..its almost
instantaneous closer than the voice box . with tiny gaps
between the teeth to make a sound too....all the latencies
are so short in comparison to other drum production
methods.

yes. recording from the mouth isn't enough, we need the
sound that the person hears.

this is a job for the scientists!

a couple of mics in your ears...one under chin ect ect
input channels to computer, separate the frequencies ...take
each band you separate and convert them into midi (sound2
midi converter) ...and trigger samples n stuff with
notes/velocity you create .blend with original .. and record
