This programme makes me laugh when the metal bands are on there... Iron Maiden are doing 'Run To The Hills' (!) on there now, with Adrian Smith looking like Johnny Vegas...

the music industry in the uk is pretty bad, programmes like this and pop idol dont help it.

I wrote my thoughts on the top of the pops awards last year, its very aggressive contains violence and comments of a sexual nature, i wonder if fans of Aphex Twin would be offended if i posted it?

nothing wrong with pop idol :-)
they were all good singers, shame about not so good songs... I think Will should do loads of big band songs, but then it would look like he's copying robbie williams :-/

yeah nothing wrong with pop idol, it just managed to brainwash even more of the population into listening to manufactured pop music.
