Are great. I've only just discovered them, silly me.
Fabulous musical power fun fun.

I wish I wasn't at home with port and this. It requires
dancing.

Maybe they aren't really that good, and the four tracks I've
heard by them are the only good tracks they've ever done.
But these are very pretty tracks, yes.

im sure they are good,
as lots of people here adore the team.
i have two of their albums,
but i dont know where to find the beauty of them...

why do you like those four tunes?

I don't think their music is "beautiful" at all, I just find
it quirky and funky and danceable and abstract enough to
keep things interesting. I can see why their slightly
video-gamey, psychedelic sound might irritate some, but I
love that stuff. :-)
It's not thought-provoking music, but it is lots of fun.

This is another thread were somebody says "Team Doyobi are
good" and then I say "Yes they are" and that's all there is
to it.

: )

Same problem as Melack. Ok, they are quirky and funky and
maybe danceable, but the tunes never seem to "catch me". And
I've listened to most of their albums/eps. Sometimes I put
on their stuff just because I think there are some growers
there, but nah. Really like Demons to Diamonds though.

anyway if you dont like any of these then you dont like
them:

demons to diamonds
push chairs for grown ups
dfo:bad
cryptoburners
antiquity

I love almost all they did... havent really give a try to
the last album though (I liked it at first but didnt play it
too much really)

DFO:BAD is the best imo. "On th' Money" is brutal.

You need to get the pushchairs for grownups remixes. Some of
the mixes on that are ace. The two tracks that start both
sides of the 12" are absolutely ace!

Downloaded Digital Music 1 yesterday for a laugh, first
Doyobi I've ever listened to, didn't realise it was new
either. Great shit. Is their older stuff like this? I feel a
CD-ordering binge coming along!

Holy shit, it's still amazing. Adore the melodies,
especially Maltazers and Arches. Had a quick listen to their
other shit on Bleep, nothing seems quite as deliciously
beepy crunchy AND melodic as this album. Damn...

Plus I have a big sore spot in one ear which makes insertion
of earphones painful. Jab keys or a pen into ear to pop
spot?
