Neubauten is always good...I always liked all of Laibach
releases even though more fans keep dropping and more keep
adding on with each release...

Neubauten, i agree on. Laibach.... Hmmmm, I tend to dismiss
their late recordfs as just pranks...

Hmmm, both have done good AND bad things, more so in
Scratch's case as he's made much more music. But in both
cases, their good music is extremely good. But they are both
inconsistent, so don't belong in this thread IMHO.

Axion: I mean some of Perry's and 'Pushers stuff is just
bad, they were trying to find new ways of expression and
failed. Whereas Autechre pushed further with each and every
release.

Flea: well, will it surprise you if I say "Ljubljana,
Zagreb, Beograd"?

instance.....

Flea: Am I hardcore or what?

Ah, no, not again, I bashed that album so many times on this
MB that I thought everyone knows: it has some brilliant
parts and tons of technically stunning, uninspired filler.
Many piano tracks are really interchangable and expendable
(wonder how many more of these he has on his harddisk in
folder named "Piano Sketches") and concrete sound montages
are just dirrectionless... Had he ditched the preposterous
double CD idea, he might have made a good album.

Axion: does it? I didn't think so.

Tolstoyed: well, it is not necessarily "he", of course, I
just used the usual serbian gender-phrase, sorry.

So you were to gibraltar, you lucky dog!!!!

Korn, deftones, NiN? Huh? I thought those bands were
classic examples of good idea gone to shit, but if that's
your opinion, I'm not gonna try and impose mine...

Axion: does it? This is a cubic painting of a human head for
what i can tell. It never struck me as a monkey or ape
head.

Tolstoyed: so was that a pleasure trip or a business trip?

I thought it was obvious that this was a cubist painting.
It's not real, of course.

The Beatles' best album was their last one, so I it makes me
tear up to imagine if they could have put out just a couple
more... 2 or 3... ohhhh God.

Radiohead is pretty amazing, they can do no wrong now.
