The Smak series were a range of EPs by artists that didn't
quite fit into the main Skam roster at the time. the Smak
Issue 01 and 02 CDs are compilations of these.

Or something.

hm... okay... i've calmed down a bit ;-) Thanks.

I must say i am mine has grown on me a little. It's
being played fairly often, and it doesn't bore me anymore.
But it's still not up to their old standards by far!

Oh well... we'll see. At least there'll be a couple of
decent songs on there to enjoy. Plus Vedder's voice. it'll
be okay i think. So that's 'ghost', 'can't keep', 'save
you'... and... eh... ah you mentioned another in that other
thread, can't remember. I'll look out for those anyway

Did you notice that the band are playing live in that I Am
Mine vid? Took me a few watches to notice.

what do you mean "live"? It was all recorded in one take?
That would be quite cool :-) How did you notice such a thing
though?

totally off topic but have you seen the audioslave video??
it's total crap! what kind of a way is this to present your
band? or is it taking the piss? all that firework and
gratuitous naked (male) skin... bummer. and the song isn't
that original either

i thought the nin live album was terrible\not good at all,
waste of $, the show itself was good but it was not like the
cd if you ask me. are you sure? doll doll doll came out
this year along with higgins and songs about my cats
correct? the only older release is that printf cd i thought.

no, doll doll doll came out LAST year (i believe who ever
said that in this thread).

the live album was the exact audio, i dunno what else you
want from it..? it wasn't supposed to be a rarities album,
like the 2 times they played reptile, 3 times big come down,
2 times fragile, etc. i mean they COULD have done that but i
respect them for picking their actual setlist.

yeah that video was really weird. It reminded me of
MonsterMagnet's Space Lord-video... but you could
tell very clearly that was a parody. I'm not so sure about
the audioslave-video... they looked awfully serious.

Chris Cornell looked really weird too... with the blond
hair.

I've only seen it once, so who knows maybe it will grow on
me. But from what i've heard the song itself was nothing
special either. If anything it reminded me of VERY early
soundgarden... not so good. Suddenly i'm not so excited
about the audioslave-album no more :-(

Justin Timberlake - Justified!!

P.S. don't you just hate it when people use stupid puns like
that for their cd titles?

it can be stupid, but then again everyone does it, whether
they're teen pop or intensely underground

Right now Im very into Plone, so Plone is no 1 on my top ten
with the album "For Beginners Piano". (However Im not sure
that all on my list are 2002-releases).
No 2 ... is a norweigan group called "Röyksopp", (with the
album Melody AM.)
No 3 must be Plaids Double Figure, although most of the
tracks are real sleeeeepingpills.... But the first one,
Eyen, is so good, so it compensates for the rest. ;)
4. Future Sound of London, or the same guys with another
name; "Amorphous Androgynous", the very non-electronic album
"The Isness". You can hardly believe its FSOL........ but
its good!
5. would be an artist called ModeSelektor, however I have
not yet found an entire album with him / her, only EPs with
varios artists....

Well, I think thats it from me for 2002.
