what's your favorite/most used Winamp plugin?

Mine is MilkDrop
The best visualization for WinAmp, ever!

has to be the pitch shifter plugin. the one with the tempo,
pitch and speed controls. it reminds me of when you play a
45 at 33 (or vice versa) to get a new song.

Same here. Did you know you can make your own presets for
it? Just open the files withing the directory in a text
editor. Takes a bit of trial and error, but you can get some
good results quite easily. The 3D glasses option works well
too.

Good topic btw.

If I had to name another one, I'd say the gapless output
crossfader one. I think it's built in to the latest releasre
of winamp.

I personally don't give a damn about visualizations, so I'd
choose streamripper, kinda nifty little device to pluck away
mixes from internet radio

Chronotron and Pacemaker, they slow down and speed up the
song without changing the pitch. Some slow songs sound
pretty cool sped up, and some solos and tough parts are
easier to learn and play along with when you slow them down.
Sound quality drops of course, but it's bearable.

Yeah, the only plugin left in my Winamp plugins folder after
all these years is Pacemaker. Are my calculations correct,
that a 45>33 change equals subtracting 27% from the speed
gauge? ( 33 = 73% of 45)

Do a search on winamp.com for "crossfader".

Thanks for the heads up on the streamripper x-tom and thanks
for goodnight neet.
