Easerhead

While owning Mulholland drive and i've seen twin peaks,
lost highway and blue velvet and realy liking them all i
today got the opportunity to buy Eraserhead on DVD, and as
it is, or at least where hard to get, i bought it thinking
that david lynch is a cool dude who makes cool and
interesting movies but i dont realy know what to think now.

That is one FUCKED UP distubing and SICK fucking movie. What
actualy hapened that last half of the movie? I just remember
a lot of weird scenery.. And when he kills the baby is just
fucking discusting.. Dont know if im able to watch the movie
one more time..

Anyway, two things made the movie watchable: Henry, looks
just so cool with the hair and the nice suite and tie and
the pencilholder in the chestpocket.
And ofcourse the soundeffects, a huming rumbling industrial
noice throu out the movie and a lot of wierd sounds
everywhere..

So my point is, anyone wanna buy a dvd? =)

Mmm interesting I can't remember Eraserhead to well. I am
quite a big David Lynch fan as well. I think 'Wild at heart'
was one of his best but 'Dune' was awful.

the idea that you want to sell your Eraserhead-dvd is so
much more disturbing than the film.

David Lynch is such a genius. If I had to pick someone who's
work has had the biggest impact on my life it would have to
be him.

Eraserhead rules my respect for David Lynch since the time I
first saw it.
Apart from it I've seen all of the TP, the incredible
TP:FWWM, a bit undeveloped Mulholland dRive, paranoidal Lost
Highway, i'dbedamned Blue Velvet, and The Elephant Man. Oh,
and I've recently downloaded that 'The angriest dog in the
world" comic strip, it's wonderful :))

In no way this is Badalamenti!
It's David Spade... No, wait, it's Marvin Lynch... Or, eh...
Something average, I suppose... David Lynch?..

I really want to see the short film he made before
"Eraserhead" : The Grandmother I believe it is called--I've
read the synopsis, and it looks very interesting--it should
be included in the DVD/video of eraserhead, seeing as
Eraserhead is a pretty short film in itself.

years ago. it is quite weird (ofcourse..), but really nice.

you'll love it.

I think it was in movierome, that programme Alex Cox
presented..

it isn't on my video of Eraserhead, though. I think
davidlynch.com sells a very expensive dvd with all his short
films on it - I'll get that one day too..

Yeah, I think you better hold on to it. The movie might grow
on you....:)
I really love eraserhead, it's such an awkward, frightening
& wonderful movie with the best (allthough i hate that word)
soundscapes i've ever heard in a movie.
