This has become my morning anthem at work.

No day can go wrong when it's started out with these 27
minutes and one second of heaven...

silence back.

My boss hates Miles davis. I played BB here a couple of
times but she protested and threatened to battle me by
playing Aerosmith, so i stopped.

yeah, it's a peace of art
Davis is IMO the best jazz musician ever

i have to be very careful when playing jazz and reggae
because my neighbour will put on a happy hardcore remix of
the flinstones themetune and make me physically sick

Well, I do too. At the moment I listen to Low Res who does a
harddisk impersonation of Sun Ra (another "best jazz
musician"), but she just has a special thing against MD.

I LIKE THE ALBUM BUT WHY DOES HE HAVE TO GIVE IT A SEXIST
TITLE?

Miles Davis was gay. But I didn't release that Bitches brew
referred to women...

His album titles were always plays on words... I just
assumed that Bitches Brew was just another one of them...
nothing more.

My ex girlfriend's dad met him a couple of times.. He used
to review jazz clubs. He said when he walked in the room, he
could feel his hair stand on end. And that you could tell he
was in the room, even if you couldn't see him, one could
just sense his presence...

Steamtank!!!!! Long time no see!!!

In a silent way is nice. Very nice. I didn't realise there
were so many MD fans here.

As for Jonesy, he is just uncomfortable talking of
homosexuality as he is afraid of getting exposed.

No I'm not. I'm just upset that I have CDs by a fag. Next
you'll be telling me Freddie Mercury was gay too and I'll
have to burn my Queen CDs as well.

Steamtank: this place where I work is swarming with
psychologists (my MD-hating boss being one of them) and they
are all fucking weirdos. Watch it!!!

Tolstoyed: Haha, oh, man, the usual Slovenian humour. But,
why is the message in Serbian? Or is it that you tramnslated
it for me?

it is because of money (what else hehe)
he's been getting money for his youth organization, and
they/he appearently doesnt offer anything in return
dont know much about how he runs this organization, but he's
a cool guy
some time ago there was an american ship in koper harbour
(brecelj lives there), and a pretty big affair came out
then, when he "kidnaped" some of those sailors :)

I love that era where Miles was practically made of crack.
He was making his most crazy stuff.

I would love to get the entire Bitches Brew sessions... all
in due time. The whole thing is a bit expensive. : \

Black Beauty is a really good one too, with Chick Corea on
the Rhodes and Jack Dejonette on the kit. Great live
performance.

"The complete Bitches Brew sessions" is a fraud. It's just
re-mastered Bitches brew on one and a half CD's and the
other 2 and a half are sessions from following months, they
don't have anything to do with BB sessions.

Columbia trying to cash in....

mentioned up there. It's a live performance, but MIRON has
some similarities to it.

on the corner is great as well - also dedication by herbie
handcock -one track is just him playing whilst a synth
modulates in the backgtound - it's brilliant
